Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Properties Manager/Developer with a background in retail for a role within our Properties Department. Join our clients vibrant business environment where innovation is key to staying ahead in the South African fashion industry.


Responsibilities:

• Identify new retail sites and expansion opportunities for our client Group brands in South Africa and neighbouring countries.
• Negotiate to secure prime locations for all our client Group brands.
• Collaborate with teams for feedback on new store proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine market opportunities and merchandise mix for each store.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions for new stores and offices.
• Ensure timely lease renewals and compliance.
• Address maintenance issues and resolve queries from landlords.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary degree preferred (Financial, Legal, Property Management, etc.)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in property development or retail property management, with a preference for retail development experience.
