Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years proven experience in product management within the hydraulic industry
• Strong technical background in hydraulic systems and components
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful product launches

Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Lead the development of new hydraulic products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with market needs and industry standards
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the hydraulic industry
• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to end-of-life decisions, optimizing profitability and market relevance
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their hydraulic system requirements and gather feedback to continuously enhance product offerings
• Technical Expertise: Serve as the in-house hydraulic expert, providing technical support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the product development process
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring all hydraulic products adhere to applicable requirements
