Description

The Insurance Sales Consultant will be responsible for acting as a point of contact to clients to advise and sell insurance whilst adhering to quality and compliance and achieving targets.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selling Insurance telephonically and achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Managing and ensuring adherence to Quality and Compliance processes to minimize business risk.
  • Maintaining optimal operational efficiency based on productivity measures.
  • Adapting and changing to fit in with changing business operational requirements.
  • Resolving client complaints and objections.
  • Building and maintaining solid client relationships.
  • Managing information regarding new products, rate changes, rulings and training updates.
  • Upskilling yourself to stay updated with developments and trends in the industry.
  • Ensuring commitment to the FAIS Fit and Proper qualification requirements.

Years of Experience Required

  • 2 + years' outbound sales experience in a target driven environment
  • Financial services experience is advantageous

Qualifications Required

  • Matric
  • RE Exam Advantageous

Technical Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Fluency in English and one other South African official language
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Financial Services Industry related legislation and regulations
