About the Role:


The primary goal of the HR Business Partner is to strategically align human resources initiatives with the overarching business objectives, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture.

With a focus on talent acquisition, this role is dedicated to sourcing, hiring, onboarding and retaining top-tier talent


Key Performance Areas:


Strategic Partnership:


  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand departmental goals and objectives, aligning HR strategies to support overall business success
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding on talentrelated matters, organisational development, and team planning

Talent Acquisition:


  • Drive endtoend recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various technical roles

Employee Experience

  • Ensure a worldclass employee experience by fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Implement and manage performance management processes, including goalsetting, feedback sessions, and monthly checkins
  • Work with managers to identify development opportunities and create personalised growth plans for team members
  • Collaborate with managers and the HR team to Identify highpotential individuals and implement succession planning initiatives
  • Treat employees as internal customers and increase their satisfaction
  • Ensure recognition and reward initiatives are implemented successfully

Payroll

  • Collaborating with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Ensure any relevant documentation is signed, up to date and stored securely

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour legislation
  • Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensuring company compliance

Training and Development

  • Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness
  • Assist with statutory reporting to relevant SETA bodies
  • Maintaining documentation required for companysponsored training and monitoring the progress of courses and certificates undertaken by employees
  • Collaborate with managers and the HR team to design and deliver training initiatives that enhance employees' skills and support career development

HR Admin

  • Ensuring contracts and other employeerelated documents are up to date and securely stored
  • Coordinate team activities related to group work such as Innovation chats and Standups
  • Assist with building and submission of EE reporting

Marketing Liaison

  • Update the Marketing Team with HRrelevant information. Datadriven insights
  • Analyse HRrelated data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Use HR analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
  • Provide datadriven insights to inform talent management strategies and decisionmaking

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
  • 3 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent management and software development industry knowledge
  • Proven success in implementing talent acquisition strategies and fostering a culture of employee development
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
