Role Purpose


Partner with business and leadership to inform and implement the Human Capital agenda that enables business objectives and goals aligned to the Human Capital strategy.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as HC Officer or HC Consultant
  • Experience in the Insurance Industry will be advantageous
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree
  • Registration as an Psychometrist or Industrial Psychologist will be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance on HC matters to effectively support the business
  • Implement HC solutions in partnership with the HCBP and Executive HC Head
  • Drive the implementation of HC practices and processes to educate employees and line managers
  • Select and recruit suitably qualified talent in line with Employment Equity principles
  • File and maintain all relevant employee relations related documentation
  • Coordinate the recruitment process and onboard new employees across the regions
  • Provide a full administration support for employee benefits
  • Take ownership for HC monthly reports, coordination of recruitment activities, industrial relation matters, performance excellence and recognition practices and processes
  • Ensure that HC documentation is timeously and accurately submitted to the relevant stakeholders
  • Quality check documentation that adheres to standardized HC processes
  • Assist the HC team with projects and research
  • Provide exceptional service to clients in order to manage client expectations
  • Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Take ownership for driving career development
  • Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximise employee productivity
