The purpose of this role is to grow the value and exposure of the Group through the development and execution of strategic digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification
- Financial services experience
- Strong digital marketing experience
- 7+ years' handson professional experience with multichannel digital marketing strategies (including planning and execution)
- Track record of developing and implementing digital marketing communications plans that have produced significant, impactful and measurable ROI results (portfolio of evidence) Track record of success in a B2C and B2B digital marketing environment

Digital strategy development, implementation and execution
- Set actionable strategic priorities for digital marketing that is aligned with the business objectives and ensures successful implementation and measurement thereof.
- Provide input into the development of the Group Marketing strategy
- Develop the Digital Strategy including communications, media, channel, B2B, B2C, ecommerce and CRM
- Develop and manage substantiated, innovative and consumer driven digital initiatives in order to deliver against the key business targets outlined in the existing marketing strategy
- Engage and work with agencies to devise strategies to grow ooba's channels' contribution to total sales
Digital channel development
- Enable business growth and sustainability through the identification and implementation of new digital platforms
- Develop and implement coowned ecommerce channels
- Grow and develop ecommerce opportunities to meet customer needs and revenue streams
- Create relationships with third party aggregators / delivery channels
- Identify and introduce digital platforms to enhance the overall customer experience
- Evaluate and suggest appropriate technology to improve ooba employees' experience
- Evaluate potential digital partnerships to benefit the Brand
- Support the Group Marketing Manager in developing a long term B2B strategy aimed at driving alternative revenue streams for ooba
Digital communication and media management
- Support the Group Marketing Manager in creating and implementing the longterm digital communications strategy across all channels
- Support in the creation and enforcing of digital communication protocols and policies
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of online communication campaigns and revamp where required
- Evaluate and recruit media service providers
- Negotiate terms and conditions, retainers and manage SLAs
- Facilitate digital platform support of the crisis communications team
Business enablement through digital growth
- Review new technologies to ensure that ooba remains current with regard to developments in digital marketing
- Review reports and suggest improvements to the ooba website, managing any future redesigns of the website
- Proactively identify ways in which ooba can incorporate multimedia into its marketing campaigns and communication
- Work with design, marketing and technical specialists to oversee long term improvement programs including major redesigns, incremental changes and pagespecific testing
- Maintain a marketing automation infrastructure and implement best practices, including guidelines for internal communication channels, landing pages and campaigns
- Conduct digital pilots for testing and reporting purposes in order to develop best practices that can be replicated across the organisation
- Adhere to audit, regulatory and compliance requirements from a digital perspective
Digital revenue generation
- Collaborate and negotiate with Business unit heads for the use of digital services
- Create pricing model for the delivery of digital platform services and negotiate SLA's
- Review digital platforms for Brand standard alignment
Reporting and BI
- Determine requirements for the appropriate reports and dashboards based on business needs
- Analyse digital platform and media data Provide insights into digital and media performance
