    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Service/Field Technician to join our team from a remote location in Central Alberta. This is a unique and challenging position that includes both customer service support and hands-on field support to customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide dealer/customer support for all Highline products – on site or by phone.
    • Deliver dealer/customer training at Dealer Day events or other training functions.
    • Document and submit customer feedback to inform Highline Engineering/Marketing of field-related concerns.
    • Process parts orders to ensure customer needs are met.
    • Assess warranty claims, identify root causes, and work towards resolution.
    • Provide field service support to customers.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or diploma in an agricultural/mechanical field (e.g., Agricultural Equipment Technician).
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, technical support, or related problem-solving.
    • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on professional, solution-focused support.
    • Extensive knowledge of and ability to maintain agricultural equipment, with a strong asset being knowledge of Highline products.
    • Ability to operate and repair agricultural equipment.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • A balance of practical experience and creativity.
    • Self-directed environment and decision-making capabilities.
    • Willingsness to get hands dirty.
    • Welding & fabrication skills are an asset.
