The IIE's Varsity College, Waterfall Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: User Interface Design and Usability (Part-Time).**
Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Masters in Information Technology.

Alternatively:

An NQF 9 qualification that includes Information Technology topics.

Minimum Work Experience Required for User Interface Design Lecturer:

Lecturing experience in databases and/or programming.
Familiar with use of T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of the following concepts:
Design Principles
Cognition Theory
Data gathering techniques.
Action Model
Web and Desktop navigation menus
Physical forms
Desktop online forms
Mobile forms
Human Computer Interaction Domain
User Centred design
Design Theories, Models and Principles
Data Gathering
Navigation, Menus and Design Guidelines
Form Design
User Interface Design and Usability Prototyping
User Interface Design and Usability Evaluation and Usability Testing
User Interface Design and Usability Graphics and Visual Design

Working Conditions:

Availability to lecture Parttime during the week, between 8am 5pm on campus.
Provide a student support function through consultations, where necessary.
Grade all assessments for assigned classes.
