    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee our facilities in the stunning Camps Bay, where the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range meets the Atlantic Ocean.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all maintenance activities to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
    • Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency.
    • Work closely with other departments to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations while implementing best practices for facility management.
    • Oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

    Requirements:

    • Educational Background: A Grade 12/Matric Certificate is essential; a tertiary qualification in Maintenance Management is preferred.
    • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar position, with demonstrated project management or supervisory experience.
    • Technical Skills: Extensive technical knowledge in maintenance practices, including familiarity with architectural drawings and layouts.
    • Certifications: An OHAS qualification is advantageous; previous experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.

    • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team effectively.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues quickly and implement effective solutions under pressure.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality in all facilities.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively.
    • Project Management Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.

    Salary:

    R1,500,000 - R2,000,000 per annum
