Western Cape, Helderberg- (Market related)
Electronic Technician required to service technical equipment.
Essential Requirements:
National Diploma (NTC) N6 (Electronic Engineering) with at least 3 years' technical experience after qualification.
Experience:
- Servicing and repair of technical equipment
- Disassembly and assembly of mechanical systems
- Manufacturing processes
- PCB rework and good soldering technique
- Basic use of tools and machinery
- Use of electrical and electronic test equipment
- Electrical and/or electronic faultfinding and troubleshooting experience
- Quality management systems (e.g. ISO13485, ISO9001)
- Understanding of basic electrical and electronic fundamentals
- Insight in mechanical dynamics and design
- Technical background in general
- Understanding of schematic diagrams (PCB, wiring
- Ability to follow detailed technical calibration instructions involving careful adjustments, measurements and documentation of results
