    Description
    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Communication, Analysis and Reporting:
    • Responsible for statutory accounting and for compliance with local legislation
    • Manages the Finance function, with AR, AP and FP&A tasks being outsourced in shared services center.
    • Process bank payments
    • Perform cost accounting (including participating to the inventory counts)
    • Prepare and submit financials and fiscal returns.
    • Performs the monthly / annual financial closing.
    • 3rd parties confirmations
    • In charge with financial and fiscal audits
    • Ensure subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general ledger.
    • Ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate with support documentation.
    • Ensure all Tax returns are prepared accurately & reviewed then submitted on time.

    2. Policies, procedures, regulations
    • To comply with local legislation and accounting standards

    3. Standardisation, responsibility and continuous improvement of the management system
    • Apply 7 Quality Basics rules.
    • Familiarise to the clients Health, Safety & Quality Policy statement.
    • Identify improvement opportunities.
    • Influence best practice and standardization across the companys processes and projects.
    • Adhere to Corrective and Preventive actions implemented and report on effectiveness/ and or progress,
    • Fully cooperate with Business Management System internal and external Auditor during process, product and systems audits.
    • Promoting the use of the process approach and risk base thinking.

    4. Health, security, environment, emergency situations - individual responsibilities:
    • Assisting in the provision of a safe working environment for all employees in accordance with the regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 by:
    • Contribute to the effectiveness & efficiency of the Safety and Environmental Management System.
    • Taking reasonable care for your own and others workplace health & safety.
    • Respond to actual emergency situations.
    • Reporting all workplace hazards, incidents and near misses.
    • Adhering to all HSE policies and procedures.
    • Promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking.
    • Participating in the Safety Management Program when required, including regular training/ toolbox talks.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Qualified Accountant/BCom.
    • Accounting/BCom Honours preferably.
    • Syteline/Infor CloudSuite (ERP Software) (Highly beneficial)

    Related Minimum Experience:
    • Min. 5 years of accounting experience.
    • Min. 3 years of post-article experience.
