    Estimated Salary: R400,000 - R600,000 per annum

    Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Sound Technician to join our team. As a key member of our audio operations department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating sound equipment for live events, productions, and installations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate sound consoles, speakers, microphones, and other audio devices.
    • Conduct sound checks to ensure optimal audio quality and make real-time adjustments as needed.
    • Mix and regulate sound inputs and feeds to provide a balanced audio experience for live audiences.
    • Implement sound designs as directed and interpret design elements to achieve the desired audio effect.
    • Inspect sound equipment regularly to ensure it is in good working order and compliant with safety standards.
    • Perform basic repairs and maintenance on audio equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Provide technical support during performances to address audio issues quickly and effectively.
    • Collaborate with production teams to achieve desired audio outcomes and ensure alignment with overall production goals.

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma in Sound Technology or equivalent qualification.
    • At least 3 years of experience in sound technology.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in digital audio consoles (e.g., Midas, Digico, Yamaha, and Soundcraft).
    • Knowledge of sound reinforcement principles and physical ability to lift and move equipment.

    What We Offer:

    • A competitive salary range of R400,000 - R600,000 per annum.
