ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Technical:
At least 5 years' experience in ABAP Development (Backend)
At least 3 years' experience in ABAP Development (Frontend, e.g. Dynpro, WebDynpro SAP UI5)
At least 2 years' experience with ABAP Objects (Automated testing / APBA Unit tests)
At least 3 years' experience with distribution technology ODATA / Idoc

Functional:
At least 2 years' experience in Material Management (MM), focus on Material Master
At least 2 years' experience with SAP Transport / Transport management (Solman)

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Good understanding of the Product Master within S/4 (for eWM)
Operation experience
Experience with Hana / S4 technology e.g. CDS views (SAP Gateway)
Agile Framework experience e.g. scrum
Basic understanding of Streaming technologies such as Kafka

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or similar qualification
5 years' experience as an SAP logistics developer
3 years' experience as an SAP MM developer
2 years' experience as an SAP functional consultant

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

Technical and functional refinement and breakdown of requirements (Epics, User Stories) in Material Master for the European as well as for the Overseas BMW plants (e.g. China)
Development of new Material Master functionality (in S/4 or ECC)
Migration and Rollout for Material Planning (ECC > S4)
Testing create automated test cases (Tosca) and run manual testing
Business Object definition, extraction, and distribution across the entire plant landscape (SAP and Non-SAP)
