    A Senior Risk and Compliance Leadership role that involves identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks to enable the organization to achieve its strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, advanced knowledge of risk management practices, and excellent analytical and leadership skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyzing potential risks and their impacts on the organization.
    • Developing and implementing a robust risk framework for the organization.
    • Providing advice to senior management for informed decision-making.
    • Creating and streamlining audit processes.
    • Maintaining risk plans and improving governance and internal controls.

    Qualifications and Professional Certification

    • Legal Degree (LLB, LLM, or similar) is essential.
    • Advanced qualification in data privacy and Cyber Security Risk Management is advantageous.
    • At least 8 years' experience in a Senior Risk and Compliance Leadership role, preferably in the Financial Services Sector or major Consulting/Auditing Firms.

    Essential Knowledge and Skills

    • Advanced knowledge of sound legal, risk, and compliance practices.
    • Sound knowledge of relevant legislative requirements (POPIA and Data Processing).
    • Critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
    • High level of transparency and integrity.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
    • Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective networking capabilities.

    Salary

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
