Key Purpose

  • Processing general finance and specific asset functions as required, delivering results and meeting client expectations. Responsibilities include resolving finance queries; payments; reconciliations and reporting. Applicant needs to have strong analytical skills, ability to work within a team, follow instructions and procedures as well the ability to cope in a high pressure environment
    Principal Accountabilities
  • Reporting on assets and able to communicate this to stakeholders effectively.
  • Processing general finance functions as required, delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
  • Responsibilities include reconciling and processing payments within deadlines.
  • Effective stock management including stock take, reverse logistics and managing distribution.
  • Liaising between various business units.
  • Performing complex reconciliations involving large datasets with multiple formulae

Education and Experience

  • Matric (Essential)
  • Relevant Degree/Diploma in Finance or Accounting (Essential
    ):
  • Ability to work with large complex datasets with multiple formulas
  • Microsoft Office
  • Skilled with complex formulas and data cleaning techniques in Microsoft Excel
  • 2 years' experience working in a financial institution (Essential)
  • 1 year short term insurance experience (Advantageous)
  • 23 years financial administration experience (Essential)
