MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 1 1 to 2 years' experience in a Human Resources environment.
- Experience in recruitment processes, leave administration, and other HR related administration.
- Qualification in Human Resources would be an advantage.
- Good attendance, reliability and clean track record.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Excellent MS Word, Excel and data capturing skills.
- Knowledge of HR related systems. (VIP would be an advantage)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with volumes of data.
- Organisational and administrative skills.
- Customer service with attention to detail.
- Professional and caring attitude.
- Facilitation skills would be an advantage.
- High level of honesty and integrity (Must work confidentially)
CONDENSED LIST OF DUTIES:
- Carry out a support / reception function for the Human Resources / Training Team.
- Stand in for the HR Secretary / other Administrators when required.
- Manage bookings for venue/s and related catering / admin.
- Scheduling / logistics for HR / Training / Induction events.
- Handle basic HR related queries / requests / correspondence/ drafting of reports / letters / checklists / photocopies / paginating / preparation of bundles / record keeping etc.
- Assist HRP's with shortlisting; scheduling / marking of assessments for applicants; setting up and preparing for interviews.
- Handle stationery / PPE requisitions for HR / Training Department.
- Checking and processing of HR / Training related invoices and reconciling thereof with Accounts.
- Attend to filing duties / new employee starter packs / stats / maintain daily.
- Brief or orientate new employees on medical aid / other important issues; provide with all relevant brochures / information /handbooks etc
- Ensure personnel files / various forms (salaries, personal, leave and training files) are completed, finalized and distributed.
- Preparing / maintenance of study assistance and assisting with study assistance queries.
- Updating / checking and extracting information on VIP
- Assist with Maternity / Other Leave or Employment Benefit related administration.
- Assist with IOD / COIDA.
- Handle procurement requirements for providers.
- Maintenance of the H drive.
Salary:
R14, R19,410.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Diploma (preferred)
