    Culinary Department Overview

    The Marriott International Culinary Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Manager to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily success of our culinary operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Culinary Leadership
      • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
      • Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive guest satisfaction and loyalty.
      • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement new menus and culinary programs.
    • Food Quality and Safety
      • Ensure that all food products are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
      • Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
      • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Staff Development and Management
      • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team.
      • Mentor and coach kitchen staff to improve their culinary skills and knowledge.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
    • Inventory Management and Cost Control
      • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize cost.
      • Develop and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability.
      • Monitor and analyze kitchen expenses to identify areas for improvement.
    • Guest Service and Satisfaction
      • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
      • Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
      • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
    • Proven track record of success in leading a high-performing culinary team.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
