    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    At Avis Budget Rental & Leasing, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal aspects of all contracts, regulations, and orders related to various projects, as well as company-related agreements. They will provide assistance for all corporate statutory matters to the Group, ensuring statutory compliance across Procurement functions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contract Management:
    • The Contracts Manager will provide general contracting support for Zeda Ltd by conducting activities including contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating, implementing, and general legal issues identification as it relates to Sourcing.
    • The Contract Manager will be responsible for providing practical and proactive guidance on contract-related issues, including commercial terms, risk identification, scope of work, contract compliance, and legislative requirements.
    • The Contract Manager will be responsible for contracts and agreements, including Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Tender Documents, and any other related procurement contracts, materials, templates, and supporting documents, where applicable.
    • The Contract Manager will ensure that all relevant contracts are valid.
    • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • The Contract Manager will work closely with the internal business to draft, review, and negotiate agreements.
    • The Contract Manager is required to support the wider Sourcing team on issues relating to contract validity, terms, definitions, and dispute resolution.
    • The Contract Manager ensures that all relevant Zeda staff are informed and kept abreast of all factors that have an impact on their business operations.
    • The Contract Manager will work closely with the Legal and Risk departments in managing the relevant contracts and agreements and ensuring these are relevant and up-to-date. This will also include resolving issues raised during contract negotiations and/or drafting.
    • The Contract Manager will engage with suppliers and external business partners to ensure that they are aligned with Zeda Ltd's contractual requirements.
    • Track performance and compliance of procurement transactions in line with ESD strategy.
    • Classify suppliers in terms of risk level (high, medium, low) as part of supplier risk management conducted through the due-diligence and vetting process.
    • Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery on service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Reporting:
    • Create, collate, and submit monthly reports on supplier performance.
    • Report on the status of all contracts.
    • Analyze and report on supplier trends monthly to provide market intelligence to the business.
    • Risk and Performance Monitoring:
    • Regularly monitor and ensure the alignment between suppliers' operational performance, compliance with the strategic sourcing policy, and Zeda Group objectives and standards.
    • Monitor supplier risk and take proactive steps (e.g., blacklisting) to advise internal stakeholders and to mitigate contractual risks.
    • Implement supplier risk and performance management process and escalation to be followed across Zeda Ltd. in order to ensure supplier compliance.
    • Monitor the environment to ensure Zeda Ltd. and its business partners are compliant with legislative developments and corporate governance principles.

    Requirements:

    • Education:
    • NQF Level 7 Qualification in Contract/Commercial Law.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Advantageous:
    • NQF Level 8 Qualification in Commerce/Supply Chain Management/Transport.
    • Experience:
    • 5 Years Experience in Contract Management/Commercial Law.
    • 3-5 Years Experience in Procurement/Sourcing.
    • 3 Years Experience in engaging at Senior Management level.
    • Advantageous:
    • 1-3 Years' Experience in the Automotive Industry.

    This role requires the employee to maintain the highest level of Honesty and Integrity, as they will have access to company assets, cash handling, and confidential record storage areas. A formal personal background check will be undertaken.
