Quality Control Assistant - Killarney Gardens, South Africa - Edge Personnel (Pty) Ltd
Description
Control quality and ensure food safety compliance.- Perform daily/weekly verification checks on equipment, i.e. startup and line changeover checks.
- Accurately record inspection and test results.
- Assist in verifying nonconforming stock.
- Report product deviations and food safety concerns.
- Assist in sample collection and submission for external evaluation.
- Assist in conducting monthly hygiene inspections.
- Controlling documentation and records within the Food Safety Management System
- COCs, Specifications, uploading to paperless system.
- Ensure all raw materials received, complies to acceptance criteria.
- Report all nonconforming products to Quality Manager.
- Traceability monitor, exercises, mock recalls etc.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Food Science/Food Technology / Consumer Science.
- At least 2 years working experience in food manufacturing environment.
Education:
- Bachelors (required)
Experience:
- food manufacturing: 2 years (required)
