Store Supervisor

- Overseeing other employees.
- Managing stock.
- Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks.
- Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
- Monitoring stocks and the general appearance of the store.
- Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
- Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.
- Coordinating the loading of delivery vehicles
- Store and yard housekeeping
- Ensure that all Health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Supervision of Transport personnel
- Driving Forklifts when needed
- Unloading, receiving, checking, and storing stock
- Picking and issuing stock
- Stocktake
- Paper trail control
- Store and yard housekeeping
- Serving customers
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or NQF
- Drivers license & Forklift license
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel)
- Knowledge of the Building & Construction industry will be advantageous
- Good physical health
- Materials handling experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
- Familiarity with applicable labour laws, and retail health and safety standards
