Job Advert Summary:

MHR is urgently looking for a
Professional Nurse Senior Coordinator to assist our Western Cape office in managing a small team of hospital coordinators, handling near-miss events, and focusing on recruiting and selecting healthcare staff.

This is a
permanent opportunity at our office in
Tijgerpark in
Bellville,
Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in General Nursing
Active SANC licence for 202
Must have own vehicle and valid driving licence
At least 3 to 5 years experience working as a Professional Nurse at a private hospital/private healthcare facility
A Nursing Administration qualification will serve as an advantage
Excellent knowledge of nursing scope of practice
Strong administrative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office good Excel, Word and Outlook skills
Good computer skills, the ability to work on new systems
Exceptional client service skills, the ability to source new clients and liaise with potential clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Management skills, experience in managing a small team
Experience in investigating and managing clinical/nearmiss events and following disciplinary proceedings
Familiar with relevant legislation such as Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and Labour Relations Act (LRA)
Staff recruitment and selection experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in investigating and managing clinical/nearmiss events
Assist with disciplinary proceedings
Provide a staff placement service to selected MHR clients
Manage a small team of Hospital Coordinators who focus on the booking and placement of healthcare staff at MHR clients
Assist the MHR team with recruitment and selection initiatives
Liaise with potential clients to grow the business
