About the Role

As French Concierge Specialist for their tour operator business, you will assist guests with making reservations, arranging transportation, and addressing special requests. Your exceptional service skills will impact the company's competitiveness, profitability, and travel experience quality.

Requirements

• Fluent French language speaker and writer;
• National Senior Certificate/Matric qualification;
• 2 years' experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role in a Tour Operator Environment;
• Based in Cape Town;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for international clientele interested in booking tailor-made holidays and safaris;
• Book hotel/lodge and logistic reservations based on consultant requirements;
• Responsible for travel request distribution to agents;
• Support Sales consultants with administrative duties;
• Conclude post-confirmation aspects of bookings;
• Enquiry warming and sales quotes as first point of contact;
• Work directly with Sales Managers to resolve client travel issues;
• Customer service-related responsibilities and other office duties;
• Collaborate with external suppliers via telephone and email communications;
• Work with the rates team to resolve tasks and communicate with consultants;
• Log required tickets relating to rates and product;
• Timely turnaround time for Sales Consultant requests;
• Update Concierge dashboard and reporting with sales managers.
