    Description

    Senior Engineer Position

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Bioprocessing Group in the Biometallurgy Division.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide engineering inputs and perform research in bioleaching of precious and base metal resources, as well as treatment of mine effluents and solid wastes.
    • Formulate ideas, design experiments, identify problems, and evaluate and implement solutions.
    • Lead project execution as chief investigator, establishing specifications, improving workflows, and introducing operating procedures.

    Commercial Expectations:

    • Prepare proposals under supervision to client satisfaction.
    • Design, operate, and oversee experimental work, ensuring quality control and continual improvement.
    • Collect and interpret data using standard methodologies and procedures.
    • Plan and manage projects efficiently, coordinating with others.
    • Ensure proper equipment use and maintenance, promote workplace improvement, and adhere to SHEQ requirements.

    Research and Development:

    • Prepare proposals, including open call proposals.
    • Perform routine scientific and engineering research using standard methods and procedures.
    • Conduct complex research under supervision, contributing to IP development.
    • Meet minimum qualifications: MEng or MSc(Eng), preceded by BSc(Eng) or BEng, with 3-5 years experience in Biometallurgy or related field.
