Our client, a leader in the solar and renewable energy industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Public Relations Officer to join our team.

As a PR Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's image, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our brand as a leader in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic PR plans to enhance the company's reputation and visibility in the market.

Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders, ensuring positive coverage and engagement.

Create engaging and impactful press releases, articles, blog posts, and other PR materials to effectively communicate our company's achievements, initiatives, and thought leadership.

Monitor media coverage and industry trends, identifying opportunities to position the company as an industry leader.

Coordinate and manage media events, press conferences, and trade shows, ensuring a positive and impactful presence.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and sustainability, to align PR efforts with overall business objectives.

Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communication effectively, safeguarding the company's reputation.

Leverage social media platforms and digital channels to maximize PR reach and engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in public relations, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to various audiences.

Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage with media, industry influencers, and stakeholders.

Solid understanding of media relations, crisis communication, and digital PR strategies.

Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms for PR purposes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

Passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to a sustainable future.

Salary:
R20, R30,000.00 per month
