    Senior Project Manager Role

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our projects in the plant equipment manufacturing industry.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute project strategies, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
    • Establish and maintain project schedules, resource allocation, and cost controls to achieve target outcomes.
    • Lead a high-performing project team, fostering collaboration, motivation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, as well as capitalize on opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Manage change orders, claims, and deviations effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
    • Conduct regular project reviews, providing stakeholders with timely updates on progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate site briefings, ensuring all relevant documents are transferred to site personnel, and that project expectations are clearly communicated.
    • Liaise with the Project Management Office to establish and maintain operating standards, driving quality project results and customer satisfaction.
    • Nurture relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors, resolving disputes efficiently and maintaining open lines of communication.
    • Capture lessons learned, applying best practices and return on experience to future projects.
    • Facilitate debriefing sessions, analyzing project successes and areas for improvement.
    • Support and develop project team members, providing input for performance evaluations and career development.

    Requirements

    • Possession of PMI Certification (advantageous but not essential).
    • In-depth knowledge of plant principles and complex project management experience.
    • Excellent planning, organizing, and coordinating skills in a global environment.
    • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent qualifications.
    • Basic commercial acumen for assessing business risks and opportunities in commercial negotiations.
    • Strong planning, organizing, and priority-setting skills, with a proven track record of managing teams.
