    We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer and Designer to join our team at Lotus Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in design and drafting of machinery used in the FMCG sector, specifically in packaging or related.

    The successful candidate will possess solid experience in manufacturing processes, demonstrating the ability to produce accurate and high-quality designs, as well as detailing and creating BOMs (Bill of Materials) and facilitating the manufacturing process.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to bring their skills and experience to a dynamic company in the Winelands area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new machinery and equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

    Key Requirements:

    • A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
    • 3-5 years of experience in design and drafting of machinery used in the FMCG sector, specifically in packaging or related
    • Solid experience in manufacturing processes, including producing accurate and high-quality designs, detailing, and creating BOMs
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • A valid driver's license, clear credit record, and own reliable vehicle

    In exchange for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of approximately R750,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
