    Job Description

    We have a vacancy for a skilled Laptop Repair Technician with a positive and confident attitude.

    The incumbent should have good knowledge about laptops hardware and specifications.

    The successful candidate will work under the Laptop Department Team Leader.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure Sales Orders are prepared accurately and on time.
    • Accurately trace faults on equipment to identify faulty components.
    • Ensure that all laptops are always assembled to the highest quality.
    • Maintain the high refurbishment standard set out by the company's QMS guidelines.
    • Assemble a minimum of 10 laptops per day.
    • Accurately identify faults to ensure repairs are done according to given specifications and QMS.
    • Keep the work area, station, and/or desk tidy, clean, and neat at all times.

    Reporting Requirements

    • Submit weekly reports to the team leader for qualitative metrics.

    Communication

    • Inform the Line Manager of all challenges in the department.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an IT Repair Technician for at least 3 years.
    • Diploma in IT (A+).
    • Matric (Grade 12) qualification.

    Desirable Skills

    • Computer proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
    • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
