    Description

    Job Function

    • Monitoring of all Infrastructure as a member of the I&O team to ensure technical operational efficiency within the business.
    • Providing End-User Support for business and contact center operations, with a focus on delivering successful end-user support.
    • Supporting Business with Telephony, infrastructure, and connectivity, as well as MS operations, to ensure effective business alignment.
    • Implementing and adhering to best practice guidelines, policies, processes, and procedures to maintain the current functionality of infrastructure technology within the business.
    • Executing business needs, based on identified priorities within the team, and ensuring IT Operational monitoring and reporting to identify potential IT risks and opportunities in IT Operations.
    • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders as part of the I&O team to ensure effective business alignment.
    • Accountable to I&O Operations Specialist for all responsibilities.

    Security and User Management

    • Acting as the Business application security administrator for all core applications, including spot checks on Ad accounts and assisting with IT audits and quarterly security reports.
    • Assisting with password resets and connectivity support for onsite Lan and Wan for Business.
    • Accountable to I&O Operations Specialist for all responsibilities.

    Infrastructure

    • Maintaining the current functionality of infrastructure technology within the business by implementing Infrastructure monitoring benchmarks as identified by the team.
    • Assisting users with password resets and connectivity support for onsite Lan and Wan for Business.
    • Accountable to I&O Operations Specialist for all responsibilities.

    LAN & WAN

    • Monitoring and supporting the onsite LAN and WAN for Business.
    • Assisting users with password resets and connectivity support.
    • Accountable to I&O Operations Specialist for all responsibilities.

    Asset Management

    • Updating and maintaining the asset register for all IT hardware as part of the team.
    • Accountable to I&O Operations Specialist for all responsibilities.

    Formal Education

    • Requiring an appropriate 3/4 year IT qualification, such as Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Programming.
    • MCSE / MCITP or Recognised Degree/Diploma required.
    • O365 / MS AD and Exchange Certifications OR Azure Virtual Desktop/Cloud PC certifications are also desirable.

    Experience

    • Requires 5 - 7 Years IT Experience, with experience in dealing with teams within geographical and technical complex environments.
    • Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019, DAG, Mimecast Email gateway Management, O365 /Azure Administration, RDS Terminal Services (2016, 2019), Active Directory (2012, 2016, 2019), DNS, DHCP, Routing, Windows File Server Management (DFS), and ITIL v3/4 are essential skills.
