    Description

    Job Description:

    Medipost is seeking a professional and self-driven individual to join the GEMS (D01) department in Order Processing.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations, attending training on pharmacy acts and GPP, and ensuring compliance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) regulations.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Capture prescriptions accurately, including acute and/or chronic medication as per SOP.
    • Handle clinical discussions and enquiries with patients and healthcare professionals or other SPNs under pharmacist supervision.
    • Resolve rejections, prioritize adding scripts to WIP, and attend to cluster and personal action diaries.
    • Comply with SLA requirements, completing mailbox profiles, rejections, and action diaries within required timelines.
    • Respond professionally to email messages or enquiries from management, other SPNs, or patients.

    Operational and Quality Performance:

    • Complete daily allocated work according to level requirement.
    • Attend to action diaries and ensure SLA compliance.
    • Maintain MML adherence and competency in SOP assessments.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience as a pharmacist assistant.
    • Registration at SAPC.

    Training and Development:

    • Training on company systems, including Medipost APP, online authorization system and procedures, ESS, etc.
    • Medipost Bridging course for internal Medipost appointment from another department.
