Key Account Manager

Durbanville, Western Cape


The Key Account Manager will work predominantly in a client facing role, assisting with growing the company's revenue by ensuring key clients are satisfied with services provided and upselling services where required, and by strategically managing existing client portfolios within the e-learning space, which includes the design, development and evaluation of training content and assessments in accordance with the client's needs.

The Key Account Manager will also be responsible in part for new business development by identifying and acquiring potential clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Product/industry knowledge and networking
  • Remain up to date with events and trends
  • Build relationships with key people
  • Remain up to date with the various competitors in the market
  • Attend and/or participate in relevant conferences, workshops or roadshows
  • Attend relevant training identified as and when required
  • Achieve targets with regards to signing up new clients
  • Identify and attract potential clients
  • Develop and present satisfactory demos to potential clients
  • Manage Proof of Concepts for potential clients
  • Ensure business proposals are set up correctly
  • Draft and issue approved license agreements and contracts for new clients
  • Account management
  • Develop good relationships with key clients
  • Increase client revenue through upselling and crossselling
  • Ensuring all client issues and problems are resolved
  • Act as the main point of contact between the internal teams and clients
  • Keep clients up to date with any new content available for use through written updates and by issuing training manuals
  • Maintain all internal relationships by ensuring SLAs are up to date and expectations are managed
  • Ad hoc administrative duties
  • Ensure administration around all projects is completed before the project starts
  • Compiling relevant reports on account progress, strategies and forecasts for the internal team and stakeholders
  • Update the CRM daily with all client correspondence
  • Load all leads and prospective clients on the CRM
Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential
  • Degree or Diploma in HR/Training and Development will be highly advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years' HR and/or Training and development experience essential
  • Proven key account management experience
  • Experience working at management and exco level
  • Own reliable transport and willing to travel for business purposes

Salary:
From R1.00 per month
