About this role


As a People Experience Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the People Experience (PX) team to support various initiatives and projects aimed at creating a positive and engaging workplace for team members.

This role will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in the field of HR and employee engagement.

With this in mind, you will make an impact from day one by:


Responsibilities:


Employee Engagement:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities, such as wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
  • Support the development and deployment of Wellness Wednesday resources and post
  • Support on Cultural Internal Communications (Standard Holiday Posts)
  • Support of standard communication posts (#HiNewHire, linking posts to intranet and weekend wrapup)
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company intranet or employee portal with relevant and engaging content
  • Collaborate with the PX team to ensure effective and consistent communication across the organization
Analytics and Reporting

  • Support PC Systems Analysts with HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
  • Support PC Systems Analysts with compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Support PC Systems Analysts with data compilation for PX analysis
  • Support the development and deployment of employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather insights and identify areas of improvement.
  • Support the PX team in analyzing survey results and contributing to the development of action plans
  • Assist in data collection and analysis related to employee metrics, such as turnover rates, engagement scores, and performance evaluations
Administrative and Record Management

  • Audit and Manage Role Descriptors aligned to organizational structure.
  • Organizing and maintaining project files in line with our Information Architecture approach.
  • Audit People and Culture Information Architecture structures.
  • Audit and maintain employee files in adherence to legal and InfoSec requirements.
  • Manage image library and employee pictures aligned to InfoSec Requirements
  • Assist in quality assurance process review resources on CCi Learning Solutions using QA tool.
Support PC Projects, People Practices and Processes

  • Contribute to People and Culture projects focused on improving employee experience and engagement.
  • Support recruitment process deployment and maintaining of recruitment documentation.
  • Support onboarding activities and maintaining of onboarding documentation.
  • Provide relevant teams with monthly New Joiners and Leavers Report.
  • Provide PC partners with quarterly leave management reports.
  • Support PC process with relevant letters sent to team members.
  • Manage and update PC intranet page.
  • Actively manage training progress and records.
  • Review people practices resources and support on relevant updates.
  • Support on keeping RACI document updated and aligned to internal processes.
  • Manage PX request process (monitor, allocate and track progress).

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HRIS or employee engagement platforms is a plus.

REPORTING LEVELS
The job holder reports to the People Experience Director.
