    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vegetable Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery of vegetables.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Agricultural Expertise:
    • Possession of an Agricultural Diploma or Degree is advantageous
    • Minimum of 3 years previous vegetable farm management experience is essential
    • Prior experience in production management is also required
    • Previous experience with specific vegetables such as Cabbage, potatoes, Hubbard squash, green mealies, and spinach is highly advantageous
    • Leadership and Communication Skills:
    • Strong computer literacy skills are necessary
    • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial
    • Results-driven approach is essential for this role
    • Ability to motivate and lead a team is vital
    • Effective verbal and communication skills are required
    • A valid driver's license is mandatory
