    Description

    Business Development Manager

    The Business Development Manager will travel to the Indian Ocean Islands at least once every 6 weeks, spending approximately 10 days meeting customers and expanding our business.

    This role requires:

    • Annual profit budget achievement through collaborative goal-setting with the MD
    • Identifying market opportunities and leveraging negotiation skills to secure successful trades
    • Maintaining exceptional client service through relationship building and regulatory compliance
    • Comfortably navigating company logistical and financial controls

    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Fluent French language proficiency
    • Exports knowledge and logistical understanding
    • A proven track record of deal negotiation and closure
    • Excellent French speaking abilities
    • Familiarity with FMCG products

    Key Skills and Qualifications

    The selected candidate will demonstrate:

    • Strong mathematical understanding and numerical literacy
    • In-depth knowledge of INCO terms in buying and selling contexts
    • Creative problem-solving and initiative-taking capabilities
    • Maturity in handling diverse customer relationships
    • Broad perspective with attention to detail

    Requirements

    This role offers a competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
