The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Action all booking confirmations and amendments including hotel, transfer and flight requests

  • Check and send confirmation booking invoices to agents and direct clients
  • Liaising with overseas Ground Handlers regarding any pre and post queries
  • Dealing with pre and post booking support and customer service issues from
  • Collate and check all final travel documentation and itineraries for despatch
  • Pack and post any despatch / documentation on a daily basis
  • Check and action hotel availability and closeouts on a daily basis
  • Monitor tropical storms/hurricanes in the Caribbean and take action as appropriate
  • Process incoming payments via credit/debit cards
  • Answering and monitoring the telephones and passing on all messages and calls as appropriate
  • Liaison with office suppliers
  • Stationery stock control
  • Daily despatch of brochure requests with company letter
  • To assist with other duties in the department as required and agreed with the
  • Operations & Customer service Manager

Requirements:


  • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Articulate, excellent writing, grammar and communication skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Able to converse with high spend clientele, agents, and suppliers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Selfstarter, highly motivated and innovative, with plenty of energy and initiative
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills
  • Experience of the Caribbean, Middle East, Far East and Indian Ocean will be an advantage
  • Amadeus
