Description

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Front Desk Administrator is responsible for the management of the reception area, switchboard and providing clerical and administrative support for office.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • General office administration
  • Answering the switchboard taking messages
  • Ordering of stationery and office consumables
  • Filing of invoices
  • Processing of quotations/invoices from various suppliers/manufacturers
  • Maintenance of cost sheets and budgets in Excel
  • Point of contact for the finance department and processing of payments.
  • Work related shopping/sourcing of items
  • Managing boardroom and meeting room bookings
  • Ensuring boardroom, meeting room and reception area remains neat and tidy.
  • Taking refreshment orders for meetings as required
  • Arranging courier collections and acceptance of deliveries
  • Maintenance of key distributions
  • Any other duties as may from time to time be assigned to you by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Minimum Grade 12 required;
  • Experience: At least 1 years' experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
  • Accurate and meticulous
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good telephone etiquette;
  • Discretion and integrity;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Selfmotivated
