Clearing and Forwarding Coordinator

We seek an experienced professional to facilitate the efficient and compliant movement of goods through the export process. This position involves overseeing customs clearance, documentation, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth transit through international borders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Framing entries and handling Customs queries to ensure compliance with regulations.
Ensuring accurate calculation and payment of customs duties, taxes, and other charges related to shipments.
Assisting in rectifying HS Codes where necessary and maintaining accurate records.
Acquiring release from OGA departments and obtaining permits for applicable countries.
Requesting authorization from TPT and TPNA for cargo dues and landing orders.
Maintaining IOEC's good standing with Customs and OGAs and advising on correct Inco Term usage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in customs clearance and forwarding coordination.
Strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using customs and logistics software.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances. Knowledge of international shipping, freight, and logistics principles is also required.
