The Client is looking for an experienced Executive Human Resources Manager to strategically align the human resources function with the company goals by providing an effective and efficient human resources generalist function for the group.

The role of the EHR Manager will be to develop and implement best practice HR policies and processes across all business units and to deliver on internal customer satisfaction.

The incumbent will also be responsible for the implementation of the Group's compliance frameworks and programmes to ensure conformance and adherence to policies and requirements.


Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Executive's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, Implement, Guide, and Monitor the HR strategy at the company.
  • Advise, coach and support management on a wide range of staff leadership activities.
  • The full HR function including:
  • Transformation
  • Compensation and Reward Management
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention
  • Human Resources Development
  • Benefits Administration
  • Employee Relations
  • Organisational Development
  • Policy Development and Planning
  • Employment Equity and Diversity Management
As Compliance Officer the function include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and group policies.
  • Developing and maintaining an internal compliance control framework
  • Implementing and monitoring Group compliance program
  • Research and ensure compliance programs are best practice and applicable in South African circumstances.
  • Remedial action plans and risk mitigation strategies
  • Complaints resolution
  • Identify and investigate compliance breaches.

Job Requirements
The successful Human Resources Executive should have the following:

  • Strong Human Resources experience at a senior management level of at least 10 years
  • Relevant Human Resources postgraduate qualification such as HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or any other relevant postgraduate degree.
  • Experience in handling compliance programs will be an advantage.
  • Must be resultsdriven and able to manage and lead a team.
  • Planning, organizing, analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Formulating and implementing strategy and policy
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and HR practises.
  • Ability to train Influence and negotiate.

Salary:
R1,700,000.00 per year


Education:


  • Honours (required)

Experience:


  • Executive/Snr management (Engineering, Construction): 10 years (required)

Language:


  • English and an African language (required)
