Description
1.
Planning and developing the Project Scope.
Develop project scope and objectives including technical feasibility;
Identify key stakeholders relevant to the project (internal and external);
Identify and establish a project team comprising of Internal (Assupol) members;
Identification of key performance metrics (analytical and non-analytical) to ensure all project objectives are appropriately met;
Identification of key risks associated with the project. Develop mitigating actions as well as identifying key risk indicators;
Identification of key resources (financial and non-financial) required to execute the project;
Development of a detailed project plan outlining key checkpoints and timelines of the project;

Project management and execution
Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project;
Leading project team in line with pre-determined project plan;
Source all technical resources relevant for the project;
Project monitoring and evaluation against expected outcomes;
Management of allocated resources (Incl. budget) and achieve resource utilisation efficiencies;
Performance of regular performance evaluation of the project using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
Utilisation of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
Review and report on the progress of the project at relevant Committees and Forums.
3.
Development and Management of Key Stakeholder Relationships
Development of a Stakeholder relationship plan relevant to the Project;
Implementation of the Stakeholder plan relevant to the Project;
Management of all stakeholder relationships relevant to the project and ensure satisfaction of all expectations;
Maintain technical alignment with key stakeholders
Review and report on the Stakeholder management performance of Project at relevant Committees and Forums.
4.
Reporting obligations
Monthly reporting to the Assupol Holdings Executive Committee (where invited);
Quarterly reporting to the Assupol Holdings Board Committees (where invited);
Quarterly reporting to the Assupol Holdings Board (where invited)

Requirements:
FORMAL EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or a related field.
Masters Degree:
Masters in Business Administration (or similar) - advantage
TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
EXPERIENCE
10 years' experience in project management or senior management role;
Experience related to skills development, with youth as a focus area;
Experience in the interactions with Government Departments and/or Government agencies
