This position is for a Fixed Income Senior Analyst / Portfolio Manager with a respected Fund Manager, based in Claremont, Cape Town.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a portion of the unit trust portfolios' SA income and bond component
- Responsible for the daytoday allocation to fixed income instruments
- Manage all cash flows associated with the unit trusts
- Manage duration
- Research
- Client communication
- Quantitative analysis of global fixed income opportunities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience (fixed interest portfolio management experience, or fixed interest analysis and research experience)
- Degree plus Honours
- Must be registered as a Rep
- RE1/3/5 already done; supervision completed
