Marketing Manager - Cape Town


Looking to take the next step in your travel and tourism marketing career? Our client is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join their Cape Town team and report directly to the Head of Marketing.

With a competitive salary of R45000 and benefits, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a leading brand in the industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to execute a strategic marketing plan that drives brand excellence.
  • Support SafariPortal/WETU by updating and managing camp/itinerary details for agents.
  • Lead agent presentations, including briefings to design teams and timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee Agent Newsletters, ensuring relevant content and high open rates.
  • Manage B2B Trade Shows, coordinating stand design, messaging, and production.
  • Plan and deliver successful B2B Agent/Trade Private Events to showcase our brand.
  • Enhance the Company Academy tool to provide agents with valuable educational content.
  • Build strong relationships, foster teamwork, and ensure highquality work standards.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Travel and Tourism sector.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Travel Agent Industry.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to toptier collateral production.
  • Passion for the safari industry, particularly in East Africa
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and manage workload proactively.

  • Uphold a bestinclass image for the commercial team externally and internally.
  • Represent the Company with professionalism and contribute to its reputation as a leading safari operator.
  • Embrace and embody the Company values in daily work practices.
  • Mandatory attendance at staff events during working hours.

Conditions:

  • Based in Cape Town, you'll work nine hours daily with flexibility between 07h00 and 18h00.
  • Occasional travel may be required for business purposes.
  • Overtime possible during peak periods.
