Description

To formulate vehicle and operations tactical sales strategy and associated delivery plans for multiple dealerships, ensuring integration and operational implementation to maximise sales and profits for the brand.

Position Overview:

Specific Role Responsibilities:

GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS

PROCESS

Adhere to current legal compliance, e.g. FICA regulation, POPI Act and Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and others.
Analyse, interpret and produce detailed reports that explain trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Determine, create and track sales performance criteria for vehicles and establish an evaluation method to measure and improve efficiency.
Develop and implement ways to ensure that customers are educated on products and services leading to customer retention and increased sales revenue.
Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans to support multifunctional strategic objectives in conjunction with other business units.
Develop and implement preowned marketing strategy
Continuously optimize the design, layout, and functionality of the preowned vehicle website to enhance user experience and maximize lead generation
Identify new business opportunities (new dealerships) to ensure growth in customer base and profits.
Implement corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in multiple practice areas in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
Manage and report on sales and financial performance.
Manage demo stock to ensure stock rotation and staff mobility solutions.
Oversee the effective implementation of communication initiatives to ensure that the customer understand the brand specific messages for new vehicle sales.
Plan vehicles orders to ensure availability of stock to customers.
Provide end to end sales and distribution support across functions, monitor progress and make improvement decisions.
Ensure the smooth operation of rental administration services and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers

FINANCE

Contribute to the setting of budgets, minimise expenditure and manage costs and assets effectively.
Plan and implement a cycle of constant cost improvements in area of responsibility.

CLIENT

Develop and ensure implementation of practices, which build service delivery excellence and encourage others to provide exceptional customer service.
Develop and manage sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to identify changing client needs.
Plan and deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to exceed customer' expectations in the business.
Prepare service delivery excellence plans for customers and ensure implementation.

PEOPLE

Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.
Develop and implement change management initiatives.
Develop and implement people strategies in line with service delivery, performance objectives and budgets.
Develop training material and programmes for dealerships to ensure product knowledge transfer.
Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Minimum Experience
years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least - 4 years' managerial experience
