    Renewables Head

    This is a 24-month fixed-term contract. The following outlines the key deliverables and requirements for this role.

    Main Objectives:

    • Develop, lead, and negotiate an optimized power sourcing strategy to ensure reliable power solutions.
    • Drive the Renewables Energy Projects pipeline and spearhead our vision of becoming a Green Metal producer.
    • Effective stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and liaison with government agencies and regulatory bodies are crucial in this role.
    • Build and lead the Renewables Energy Project team to implement projects successfully.
    • Manage the renewables energy project, partner relationships, and process to secure reliable power at competitive prices.
    • Ensure all projects meet high standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.
    • Stay up-to-date on new technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for RE Projects and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Qualifications:

    • A proven track record in project development and securing financial closure (FC) in wind, solar, or combined battery energy storage solutions.
    • Essential experience includes leading roles in closing Private Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and operate confidently as a subject matter expert.
    • Autonomy to work independently, two levels above, and two levels below job function if required.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent (MBA/PMP advantageous).
    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewables industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of PPAs is essential for success in this role.
