Our client at RPO Recruitment is currently hiring for the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) for their company in Sandton.

You will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

This is a senior leadership position that requires strong financial expertise, business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's objectives
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to the executive team
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring the company's liquidity and financial stability
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
  • Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Stay uptodate with financial regulations and industry trends, ensuring compliance and implementing best practices

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a CFO or similar executive role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or CA(SA) qualification is highly desirable.
  • IFRS
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations
  • Experience in a leadership position
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities

  • R1.8Mil/yr, salary negotiable
