Our client in Midrand is searching for a Junior Project Manager/Project Administrator for a fixed-term contract, until the end of December 2024(could be extended).

This is a
remote position but some physical meeting participation (in Gauteng/Midrand) may be expected from time to time.)


INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND


The Organisations is a non-profit organization, that facilitates the sharing of credit and risk performance data among members for informed decision-making.

They empower members with data control to comply with regulations and adapt to changing business landscapes. Their services include providing tools for data formats, quality, and related challenges.


PURPOSE

  • The organisation is seeking a temporary Consultant to provide project management and administration support.
  • The Consultant will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, develop project plans, monitor issues and risks, and assist in standardising project reporting procedures.
  • Regular communication on project statuses with management and stakeholders is also expected.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree and/or certifications in Project Management.
  • 23 years of Project / Programme Management experience within a
    credit bureau or credit provider (essential)

2-3 years exposure within Information Technology and/or Credit or Risk industry and/or business management function within a credit bureau or credit provider

  • Proven project manager track record of projects successfully implemented within a diverse project team.

  • Problemsolving skills and ability to find innovative alternatives and/or solutions.

SCOPE

_ The Consultant will be responsible for:_

  • Creating project plans that align stakeholder needs with the organisation's goals and coordinating personnel through all project phases.
  • Coordinating and monitoring project activities to ensure timely, costeffective, and highquality delivery.
  • Proactively addressing issues and risks, taking necessary actions, including escalation when required.
  • Establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Preparing and submission of project status and budgetary reports
  • Specific projects and initiatives, inter alia:
  • Coordinate and support, including setting up and coordinating a consortium, drafting implementation plans, assisting with activities, and reporting progress.
  • Coordinate and support automation projects.
  • Coordinate and support multiple tech projects.
  • The Consultant will report to the Head of Technology and Programme Management and collaborate with other consultants and unit managers within the organisation as needed.
  • Vendor Responsibilities:
  • Ensure an appropriate fit between the complexity, type and level of work required by the organisation and the level of competency/expertise of the Consultant's personnel that will deliver this work.
  • Conduct orientation and project planning timeously and mutually agree with the organisation on the scoping of delivery of work within the envisaged time frame
