Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Fruit and FMCG

At Carlysle Human Capital, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products, fruits, and FMCG required for exports to African countries.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase products, fruits, and FMCG required for exports to African countries
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers
• Work closely with Logistics managers and other team members to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to ensure best prices are achieved for the customers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience as a Buyer in the fruit/export industry 5 – 10 years
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of export procedures for Fruit & FMCG products
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
