Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


1.


Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment.

2.


Stock Tracking:

  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, deliveries, and consumption patterns.
  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, trends, and discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock counts.

3.


Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and existing stock to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.

4.


Order Fulfilment:

  • Work closely with all departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
  • Monitor order processing and shipping to prevent delays and backorders.

5.


Communication:

  • Maintain clear communication with various departments, including procurement, sales, and warehouse, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Notify relevant parties of low stock levels or potential issues that may impact product availability.

6.


Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, adjustments, and movements.
  • Capturing Invoices.
  • Keep documentation uptodate and accessible for auditing purposes.

7.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in stock management and suggest strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in inventory management.
  • Ensure stock department is trained consistently and up to standard.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel / Pilot.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy in stock records.
  • Experience within the Hospitality / Food & Beverage Industry is advantageous.

Pay:
R12 000,00 - R14 000,00 per month


Experience:


  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Paarl, Western Cape (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Paarl,

Western Cape:
Relocate before starting work (required)
