    Description

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled professional to monitor, collate and deliver financial reports to enable senior executives to track the Standard Bank of South Africa's performance against its strategic objectives.

    The successful candidate will assist with the development and implementation of the Standard Bank of South Africa's financial digital dashboard that will streamline reporting deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights on the bank's performance
    • To develop and maintain financial models to enhance the reporting process
    • To critically review and improve existing models to ensure accuracy and relevance
    • To deliver high-quality financial reports to senior executives in a timely manner

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualifications
    • Postgraduate degree in Finance and Accounting or Information Studies
    • Experience Required
    • 1-2 years of experience in finance and value management
    • 5-7 years of experience in information technology with practical experience
    • Good understanding of bank reporting and its financial structure
    • Experience in analysis of financial and non-financial information
    • Experience in report writing and presenting financial and non-financial information
    • Technical knowledge around financial reporting, particularly IFRS, coupled with experience in credit risk analysis
    • Experience in financial modelling techniques

    Requirements

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
