Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised math tutoring sessions to a Grade 6 learner with ADHD.
• Assess the learner's strengths and weaknesses in mathematics.
• Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials to address the learner's specific needs.
• Utilise creative teaching methods and strategies to engage the learner and enhance understanding.
• Monitor the learner's progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with the learner's parents or guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Teaching experience or tutoring experience with a proven track record of student success.
• Proven experience as a math tutor, specifically with learners who have ADHD.
• Strong knowledge of the Grade 6 mathematics curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy when working with learners who have learning difficulties.
• Own reliable transport for commuting.
• Residing in Roodepoort.
