Description

Administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting all components of the SAP HANA Platform

Responsible for security administration

Escalate and consult with team members in troubleshooting and improving performance of the DBMS.

Review and tracking of database performance

Perform patching of database

User and security administration on the DBMS

Matric/ Grade 12

Tertiary Qualification - Degree/Diploma in Information Technology coupled with Database Administration certification will be advantageous

Min 2 years experience as Database Administrator coupled with understanding of SAP HANA system architecture, memory model and memory usage

Familiar with Linux Operating system and general database concepts

Use advanced Linux bash / HANA command line tools to monitor, administer and troubleshoot
