Calling all Marketing Manager with a love for sports and golfing industry

A well-established Retailer based in Sandton is looking for an experience professional with proven success in leading corporate marketing and communication in the Retail industry.

We are looking for an expert in the technical, conceptual, and content development of driving sales strategies. Be part of a company selling the latest gear and apparel at golf stores across the country and online.

Key requirements:

Excellent understanding of golf.
5+ years' experience in marketing.
Must have a retail background.
A degree in Marketing would be beneficial.
A strong understanding of SEO/SEM
Aboveaverage communication skills.

Duties responsibilities:

Manage 89 people in the marketing team.
Develop a marketing strategy in line with company objectives and make sure to stay within budget.
Attend meetings and provide relevant feedback in the boardroom.
Increase the volume of walkin clients by making use of sufficient marketing strategies.
Creating premium content which will be used online and in printed media.
Product positioning and branding within the Retail space.
Obtain public and media relations.
Creating marketing strategies and campaigns for new product launches.
Web content design strategist.
B2B and B2C marketing.
New product and strategy development.
Research marketing, analytics, and evaluation.
Having business acumen.
Supporting the sales team.
Business and financial administration.
Budget analysis and forecast.
Staff performance management.
Project management.
Advertise and promote activities and campaigns in line with sales strategy.
Keeping up with marketing trends.
Manage to rebrand and improve brand equity.
Identify sales opportunities.
